Rangers won't do three-way Bradley deal
According to one report, the Rangers, Cubs and Mets are discussing a three-way trade.
The deal has the Rangers sending Kevin Millwood to the Mets, who would trade second baseman Luis Castillo the Cubs. To complete the trade, the Cubs would send Milton Bradley to the Rangers.
Said one high-ranking Rangers official bluntly: "Not happening."
The other two clubs would love the deal. The Rangers have no interest in trading their No. 1 starter in that deal.

Thank goodness. Millwood can bring more than that if we trade him. If he were rated with the free agent pitches, he might be number 3.

The Mets would have to throw something else into the deal to make it more palatable for the Rangers. Maybe if they offer to pay Castillo's salary, though I don't understand why anyone would want him. Millwood would be a nice number 2 or 3 to have behind Santana and he would eat up a lot of innings. His ERA would go down in the National League and he would benefit from getting our of the Texas heat.

This would make no sense. Why would the rangers trade Millwood to get miton Bradley?
