Nationals interested in Randy Wolf

Looking to improve their rotation, the Nationals have expressed interest in free agent left-hander Randy Wolf, according to a baseball source.

But the team finds itself in competition with the Mets for Wolf's services. It's not known how much money the Nationals are willing to give him. The Nationals see Wolf as a leader who could teach young pitchers, such as John Lannan and Scott Olsen, how to win.

"[The Nationals] would like Wolf to stabilize their rotation," the source said.

You Nats can have Wolf us Mets are getting Lowe.

Once again, typical NY Mess fan-better hatch those chickens before you start counting them. Wolf might be looking pretty good to you guys in a week. Or maybe you can still get Ollie? I hear Boras was so insulted by Omar's 3/36 offer he refuses to speak to him. Perhaps Lowe might prefer to pitch for the CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD !

I would love to see the Nats sign Wolf, make the Mets worry even more. It would be funny if they were to not get Lowe and settle with the inconsistent Perez. Lowe and Santana would be a great duo.
