Yankees meet with Sheets
The Yankees engaged one of their secondary free agent choices, Ben Sheets, in addition to a second Q&A session with top target CC Sabathia on Monday. The New York Post reported that the 30-year-old Sheets, who has pitched his entire career with the Brewers, met with Yankees executives late in the afternoon.
Earlier in the day, Yankees GM Brian Cashman was summoned back to Sabathia's suite at the Wynn Las Vegas hotel for another go-round of questions about New York and the Yankees' six-year, $140 million offer. Sabathia then checked out and headed home to California. Cashman said that the chat was mostly information gathering on Sabathia's part.
Said Cashman: "He knows we want him."

Do you know what happens to compensatory picks for teams that sign multiple class A free agents? For instance if the Yankees signed Sabathia and Texeira, which team would get the Yankees 1st round pick and would the other team get anything other than the sandwich pick?
