Rangers may meet with Sheets

The Rangers may meet with pitcher Ben Sheets and his agent, Casey Close, during the winter meetings. The Rangers don't have much money to spend but would like to at least talk to Sheets, who lives in Dallas, and gauge his level of potential interest. The Rangers would likely have to move salary and get somebody to take either Kevin Millwood or Vicente Padilla if they were to get seriously involved with Sheets.
