Moyer drawing interest
The Brewers have added veteran lefty Jamie Moyer to its list of pitchers to replace recently departed ace C.C Sabathia, according to The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Moyer is on a Brewers wish list that includes Randy Johnson, John Smoltz and Randy Wolf. The publication quoted Milwaukee general manager Doug Melvin as saying, "We have ongoing discussions with all those guys."
Moyer, 46, is coming off a 16-7 season that saw him post a 3.71 ERA -- his best since 2003. Despite his age, there is interest from the Phillies' front office in resigning the 22-year veteran, though both sides have been reported as being frustrated they have yet to reach a deal. It's also been said Moyer is seeking alternative options, and that he would like to wait until Derek Lowe and A.J. Burnett sign somewhere to see how the market changes.

I'd love to see the White Sox sign Randy Johnson. Milestones always look great in that pin-striped Sox uniform!

I dont see Moyer matching those numbers from last year, he's a 4th starter at best and i dont see any team giving him a alot of money for 1 yr, but he would be a good bargin if the price is right. i figured he would retire on a good ending like last year.
